While New Zealand is lucky enough to have many things other countries take for granted, the climate varies widely across the country, making it difficult in some areas to grow the plants you want to grow year round. 

Whether you live in a colder climate, have undesirable sunlight hours, no outdoor space, or you are just starting seedlings a little earlier in the season, a grow tent is the perfect solution to many problems.

Essentially all you need to grow indoors is a light that it suited to your plants needs, a water source, ventilation and quality grow media full of nutrients your plant requires. To take it a step further, eliminating environmental variables like humidity and heat will further improve plant health, reduce likelihood of pests and disease. A tent helps confine everything into a clean space reducing pests, temperature fluctuations, and helping to regulate temperature and humidity. 

Choosing what to buy can be really difficult, especially if you are looking at things like lights where prices and specifications vary widely. 

We recommend LED lights as a great way to reduce power consumption, heat output and ongoing costs (like lamp replacements), however the upfront cost can be a little daunting especially for the higher end models. LEDs consume less power for the same amount of light, and can produce more of the useful parts of the light spectrum to produce better results. Some LEDs can dim from 0%-%100, making them perfect from the moment you pop your seeds until the end of the fruiting phase. 

CMH and HPS lights have their benefits through producing heaps of light with a very wide spectrum ( generally more UV and IR than most LEDs) at a low cost, and with the ability to swap out bulbs between growth phases, you can have a nicely balanced spectrum whether you are in veg or flower. 

We stock a range of environmental controllers to automate heaters, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, PH and lighting, leaving you less to worry about when conditions change. 

We select grow tents for quality and durability, but also features like ventilation and electrical ducts.   We find a 4'x4' tent to be ideal for most home growing requirements. 4'x4' tents are easy to manage but still provide enough room for most plants to express their full potential for bountiful yields. If you have the space, the bigger the tent the better, however when considering a larger tent you may need extra lighting, ventilation and environmental devices to ensure your grow tent is consistent throughout.

If we don't trust it, we don't stock it! We also carry the best brands from the USA and Europe if you are looking for anything to add to your hydroponic or coco pots. Organic and non organic nutrients are available to suit your preference with start to finish nutrient regimes and all of the extras to help your plant fully express itself. We DO not carry any PGR products (fuck PGRs), or harmful pesticides.

Soil growers will also be stoked that we carry Blumat automatic watering systems. These battery free ceramic cones use the soils pressure to draw water through an irrigator and onto the soil. Blumat is used by many larger growing facilities around the world as they are a great way to avoid dealing with common malfunctions in electrical irrigation systems, at a lower cost. Blumat can be supplied from a mains water source, reservoir or even a bucket making them the most universal watering system that can be suited to any scale.
