    Bio-Char is a charcoal-like substance that absorbs/adsorbs nutrients and houses microbes. Bio-Char can be added to compost "uncharged" where it will pull nutrients for later use. Bio-Char is very porous, which serves as a perfect habitat for many beneficial microorganisms

    Bio-Char is also great for increasing water retention of soil, and helps to restore soil to a healthy PH balance. 

    Bio-Char can increase soil fertility of acidic soil, increasing agricultural yields and can help protect your plants from some foliar and soil-borne diseases. 

    Bamboo Bio-char Fertilizer contains the following: 

    • Organic Matter >50%.
    • Nitrogen (Total) 4%.
    • Phosphorus 2.0%.
    • Potassium 4%.
    • Amino Acid >3%
    • Humic Acid >6%
    • Other Trace elements (Ca, Mg, S, Fe, Mn Zn, Co, Cu, Bo)

    Recommended Usage

    We recommend using between 5-10% Bio-Char to your potting mix.
